WSPiA University of Rzeszów is one of the few universities in Subcarpathia with many years of experience in running studies in the field of "ADMINISTRATION". The school has been educating

students for more than 25 years, i.e. since the beginning of its existence, first in first-degree studies and later also in second degree studies.

Thanks to the extensive experience and practical approach to studying "ADMINISTRATION", WSPiA can boast that many of its graduates find employment in almost every institution and economic entity.

Graduates of our University work, among others: in state and local government administration, insurance companies, banks, customs offices and agencies, tax offices, HR companies, tax consulting companies, tourism, Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), consulting companies, health care institutions, non-governmental organisations, own business, advertising agencies, enterprises, real estate agencies, accounting offices, Border Guard or the Police. Thousands of our graduates are employees of local government units, government offices, banks, internal security services and business units.

Graduates of "ADMINISTRATION" very often hold managerial and other important positions in the most important offices and institutions of state administration. Graduates of "administration" at WSPiA include Brigadier General Tomasz Praga - former Commander-in-Chief of the Border Guard; Junior Inspector Henryk Moskwa - former Regional Police Commander in Rzeszów; and Wiesław Łyszczek - former Chief Labour Inspector.

In developing its offer for candidates, WSPiA has prepared a number of interesting and attractive proposals that make it possible to gain a comprehensive education, supported by practice. One of them is a completely new educational offer in Subcarpathia called "New Field of Studies - ADMINISTRATION // MANAGEMENT".

"ADMINISTRATION // MANAGEMENT" is an offer for people wondering which direction will be more interesting. At WSPiA, intending to study "ADMINISTRATION" or "MANAGEMENT", i.e. universal and versatile fields, you do not have to decide on the choice of one of them at the moment of submitting your application for studies. You will be admitted to the first year of study, which will be common to both fields of study. The subjects we will offer you in the first and second semesters are general and introductory. This will give you time to decide on a specific course of study. You will not decide whether it is "ADMINISTRATION" or "MANAGEMENT" until the end of the first year. This is also when you will make your choice of speciality. In the following years, you will already be acquiring specialist knowledge in the field of your choice.

 

ADMINISTRATION

The bachelor's degree programme in administration lasts six semesters. They conclude with the award of a professional Bachelor's degree. They are conducted in the full-time and part-time study system.

As the only university in Subcarpathia, we have introduced new opportunities to study specialities within our fields of study. If you choose the proposed speciality, you can study it either traditionally

within the launched group (if it is created) or in an individual course. In the individual course, you will study the speciality under the guidance of your assigned tutor. You can also propose a speciality that is not on the list and complete it in the individual course provided that the University has the staff capacity to teach it. You can also multiply your competences by choosing several specialities (at no extra cost!).

During the exercises and you will also meet experienced practitioners involved in public administration, business and entrepreneurship who will impart practical knowledge.

Practice makes perfect

The curriculum of the Bachelor's degree programme in ADMINISTRATION provides for many interesting practical classes. They are conducted in the form of, among other things, conversation classes, exercises, workshops and practical classes. There will also be learning with the use of interactive business games that allow the management of a virtual company and decision-making games.

A new practical class called 'Administration Clinic' is also an interesting proposition. The classes assume that you are the lecturer. Therefore, under the guidance of an experienced practitioner, you solve case studies, discuss and teach other students. Your activity in such classes is rewarded with additional points within the Educational MIX.

At WSPiA, you have the opportunity to gain additional specialised qualifications. These complement the universal and comprehensive education you get by studying a specific course of study. The system called BED (Supplementary Education Voucher) allows you to take advantage of a selection of additional, free classes in line with your interests.

As our student, you will be able to participate in certified, specialised and, very importantly, free training courses in such areas as public procurement, internal audit and human resources and payroll.

WSPiA graduates on the labour market

Wondering what you will do after graduation? Don't worry! WSPiA graduates are doing very well on the job market! The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has once again prepared a report on the Economic Situation of Higher Education Graduates. The published data clearly shows that more than 95 per cent of the graduates of second degree studies at the WSPiA find work after their studies. In the case of graduates of first degree studies, after which most people continue their education, it is nearly 89 per cent. These are some of the best results among the large universities in Subcarpathia! Research by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education also shows that graduates of the "administration" at WSPiA are at the lowest risk of unemployment. After studies of the first and second degree in the field of "administration", graduates of the WSPiA University of Rzeszów spend little more than a month looking for a full-time job and can count on a salary of about 3000 PLN.

High rating by the Polish Accreditation Committee

The "ADMINISTRATION" faculty at WSPiA also received a very high evaluation from PKA. The Commission considered that the teaching infrastructure and the conduct of research at the University deserved a distinction, the equivalent of a "6". In the remaining 6 categories, the "ADMINISTRATION" at WSPiA received a "5". The following deserved high marks from PKA: the concept of faculty development, learning objectives and outcomes and the system of their verification, the study programme, staff resources, the system of supporting students in the learning process and the internal quality assurance system.
